Logan MARTIN - 29 - AUSTRALIA
International BMX Freestyle star, the Australian has been on the podium at almost every event he's taken part in since his debut. Technical and committed, he was the first ever BMX Freestyle Olympic Champion in Tokyo in 2020 and double UCI World Champion (BMX Freestyle Park) in 2017 and 2021. Earlier this year, he won the opening round of the 2023 UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup (Park) in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia, before winning again in Montpellier in May. Currently leader of the 2023 UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup in Park with 2820 on the scoreboard, all eyes will be on the Australian during this final stage in Bazhong!
Marcus CHRISTOPHER - 20 - USA
Professional since he was 13, Marcus CHRISTOPHER is one of the best riders in the United States. At the start of the year, he finished second on the podium at the BMX Freestyle World Cup round in Diriyah, just behind Logan MARTIN. In May, he won a bronze medal at the Montpellier round, thanks to his wide-ranging tricks. Technical and masterful, the American, with a ranking of 2110, can once again shine in China and lead his country to victory!
Anthony JEANJEAN - 24 - FRANCE
Three-time European Champion, in 2019, 2021 and 2022, Anthony Jeanjean’s performances secured France a place at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, an achievement he intends to repeat for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. In 2022, in Brussels, he won his first UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup round, ahead of Olympic Champion Logan Martin. He climbed onto the second step of the podium a few weeks ago in Montpellier, France, before taking first place in Brussels. Currently 3rd in the rankings with 2070 points, Anthony JEANJEAN is one of the riders to keep a close eye on and could claim the title of winner this year.
Hannah ROBERTS - 21 - USA
At only 21 years old, she won gold medal in BMX Freestyle Park at the 2022 UCI Urban Cycling World Championships. With her massive flairs and impressive front flips, many see in her the future of women's BMX Freestyle Park. She represented Team USA at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games by taking second place behind the English rider Charlotte Worthington. This year, she has already won the first two rounds of the UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup (Park) in Diriyah and Montpellier and took silver in the Brussels stage. With 2800 points, who could stop the American from winning the title this year?
Huimin ZHOU - 18 - CHINA
Originally from Guangdong province in China, ZHOU stunned everyone in 2023 by taking first place with an epic run in the UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup (Park) final in Montpellier, before winning again in Brussels, ahead of UCI World Champion Hannah Roberts (USA). With 2350 points, she is right on the American's heels and might create a surprise in her native country.
Sibei SUN - 18 - CHINA
The Chinese team's rise to success also includes young Sibei SUN, who managed to reach the finals in 2023 at the various stages of the UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup (Park). Fourth place at the start of the year in Diriyah, seventh in Montpellier and then fifth in Brussels, Sibei SUN has accumulated 2110 points in the UCI rankings and is determined to maintain her position and climb onto the podium at home in China.
