My brother is strong and stubborn, and I know that he will work harder than ever to regain full use of his right arm and leg. His memory is a little better each day, and we have slowly but surely been getting the old Mike back.
Thank you for showing your love and support during this difficult time. You have helped drive Mike to heal, keep him in your hearts and prayers and in time we’ll have him back 100%.

When Mike makes up his mind he usually gets what he wants, and it doesn't seem to be any different for him now. Mike decided this morning that he didn't really want to wait until tomorrow to go home. He made his case to the hospital staff, and now it looks like he'll be leaving this evening! We want to thank the wonderful staff at the Intermountain Medical Center - Neuro Specialty Rehab Unit. You have helped to give us back our brother, and for that we could never thank you enough. Mike is going home, but his battle does not end here. He will now be entering an outpatient rehab program, where he will continue the fight to recovery. Mike has come very far, and fought hard to get to this point, but there’s still a long road ahead.
