Also last Monday when I went to a funeral of my wife's best friend. 33 years old, mother of 15 month old twins, died of cancer. All of a sudden nothing is important any more. Is your seat low enough? who cares! Are your bars big enough? who gives a shit. It makes you realize that you need to seize the day, enjoy life while you can. We're into BMX and we live our lives. Here's a bit of weekly news for you so you're up to par on what's going on.
-Head protection is a big issue these days and we can do nothing but promote it. You've only got one head so you might as well make sure that it will last. When it comes down to protect it, that's your decision. But please don't look like a fool in this new AXO full face helmet. Damn, that piece is ugly. It even beats the new Arai paintjob on the uglyness top list.

-Bike checks on FATBMX this week by Ronnie Napolitan and Mike Spinner.
-15 years ago we did an interview with Jon Peacy in FAT-'zine. This week we've got a raging video up of the same guy. He still rocks!
-Looks like the Dubai X-Games are postponed till February or even April of 2009. Definitely not in December as originally planned. The riders will have to wait for the extra check.
-Today I found out about the BIGBIG BMX SHOW. It's a bit like the FAT Friday but then in motion. Glenn PP Milligan is your host a nd it's a damn fine show. Let's just hope they keep that show going on a timely basis so we can stop with the FAT-Friday and can direct you to that movie. Lots of work goes into these, that's for sure. Respect where respect is due. Better than just stealing content and claiming you're the best.
-Amazing photos of another SoCal disaster.

We get sent trailers of all sorts and sometimes we're wondering why the hell people are sending these things. We got this one about Transporter 3 from the KOXX camp. We were looking for maybe Rick Thorne or Rooftop to make an appearance but all of a sudden a BMX bike made it in the trailer and it was, in fact, a Resurrection frame from Koxx. Bad boys on BMX bikes. Back to the BMX Bandits.
