3rd edition february 2002
4 categories = amateur, expert, master, pro registered riders = 79. For the first time there was a fourth category in order to make it possible the increasingly many riders to have a broader choice according to their level and their to leave more chances. Indeed, before the master category, the beginners were confronted with the experts who put themselves as an amateur because the expert level became higher, but these experts did not have the potential to go of pro category. Thus much of young people did not take part in the competitions and felt to forget. These young people will be one day the pros of tomorrow and the competitions are important moments for them because that justify them to continue. On the basis of this report, we added a category which had a big role in the number of inscriptions, the proof was made. Victory of Alex Jumelin (Fr) in pro class.
4th edition february 2003
4 categories = amateur, expert, master, pro registered riders = 85. New idea for this 4th edition, we tested a new system of competition: in the place of the traditional passages (run) 1 by 1, the riders passed by group, each group had right a time defined in advance according to the number of riders per group, and in each one of it, the riders passed one after the other. The first of each group being qualified for the final. That was very appreciated by the riders because more justifying and less tiring (one can recover a little after a long sequence) and spectators because more spectacular and more alive. Matti Röse won in pro class (Germany)
5th edition february 2004 (Braun Circle Cow)
5 categories = amateur, expert, master, pro and girl registered riders = 91. First event sponsored by Braun in France. One more time, a lot of riders from all over the world made the trip to Servon. More and more riders, it’s great but it’s hard to find some space to pratice. In Pro class, Matti Röse wins for the second time.
6th edition february 2005 (Carhartt Circle Cow)
6 categories = novice, amateur, expert, master, pro and girl registered riders = 111. For this edition, still an innovation: no qualifications, no finals. Simply only one run. Saturdays were devoted to the beginners categories, amateurs and experts. Sunday, master, pro and girl. Rather than to make pass 111 riders the 1st day for fast qualifications, we have allowed the participants to make their run under good conditions with much of time for the practice. They had only to concentrate in one run. The majority of the riders appreciated and we had more beautiful runs with less failures. Viki Gomez (Spain) wins for the second time the CC.
7th edition february 2006 (Braun Circle Cow with Carhartt)
6 categories = novice, amateur, expert, master, pro and girl registered riders = 65. Less registered riders but it was better for everybody. More time for training, more concentrated judges and respected time table. This year, we decided to add the points of the qualifications with the points of the finals. Like this, the riders have a better chance. As every year, new talented riders has come and has become famous thanks to the CC like Keelan Philips from the UK, one of the new revelation of the year. First contest in pro like Matthias Dandois The 2005 world champion Mickael Sommer from Austria won the pro class
8th edition february 2007 (Carhartt Circle Cow)
6 categories = novice, amateur, expert, master, pro and girl registered riders = 68. Innovation for 2007 = for the pro final, we divided the 8 finalists into 2 groups for a drawing lot of the ¼ of finale for a passage to 1 vs 1. We made a drawing lot on the principle of the heads of series. The 4 first of the qualifications were indicated head of series. Then final ½ and the final. It was a success. The new talented rider from France Matthias Dandois won his first contest in pro class
9th edition february 2008 (Carhartt Circle Cow)
6 categories = novice, amateur, expert, master, pro et girl registered riders = 92. The best edition !!! The riders told us and we agree with them. 92 riders from France, Sweden, Italy, Germany, Japan, Belgium, Greece, The Netherlands and UK. The level in the finals was very high, the audience made much noise, the party was so great with pizzas and beers for free for the riders, a breakdance show just before the pro final, all the runs in live on the big screen. In pro class, Matthias Dandois (France) did a perfect run for a second victory
