For the second consecutive year, DC’s “MOvers and Shakers” were the number one Movember USA Team with a total of $30,181.71 raised for the nonprofit Movember. Besides being the number one team, DC’s involvement expanded this year with numerous contests, a sandal, and participation from DC’s team riders. To help support the cause, DC created “The DC Challenge” for the top four-man team to raise the most money for Movember. The giveaway offered an all expenses paid five-day trip to Park City, Utah, including a day of snowboarding at DC's private MTN.LAB. Congratulations to The DC Challenge winning team – Haley’s M-O who raised
$10,320 for Movember and the Prostate Cancer Foundation of America.

Other efforts included DC’s Movember Ponto sandal, which gave $5 of each sandal sold directly to Movember. DC also stepped it up by hosting a Movember eBay auction. The auction raised $3,355, 100% of which went directly to the cause, and featured autographed products from DC riders, musicians and more. Another effort included the DC “Mo” Contest where DC gave four weekly moustache winners a $250 DC online shopping sprees. Plus, a DC Movember minisite kept participants informed on DC’s efforts with new announcements and photo updates.
DC team riders
Travis Pastrana, Nate Adams, Ryan Smith, Lindsey Robertson, Devun Walsh, Iikka Backstrom, Chad Kagy, Allan Cooke, and
Michael “Hucker” Clark also joined DC’s “MOvers and Shakers” and participated in the cause. Supporters were given the opportunity to sponsor their favorite rider’s stache and watch their weekly moustache growings.
Movember is an annual charity ‘mo’-vement committed to changing the way men think about, discuss and treat their own health issues by generating awareness and raising money for men’s health. Movember challenges men (Mo Bros) to grow a Mo (Aussie slang for moustache) for one month only, November, as a symbol in support of fighting men’s health issues and celebrating the Mo.
