photo of it from 1976. When Philip took his bike out of the car he started doing laps. That's when I remembered the photo so I took one with the camera phone at the very same corner as 32 years ago! Pretty crazy when you think of it. Let's go on with the news of today:
-"Prokop kidnapped by UFO! Hot news just heard at aliens' headquarters... Extra-Terrestrials decided to keep Mr. Prokop for another two years!" I think that means that Michal Prokop is on UFO Plastics for 2 years.

-If you are wondering how to make it to the FATBMX site, wonder no more. If you have something good for the site, just send it in and we'll decide if it's good enough to be posted. It makes sense to have a decent video with decent riding in it, or a contest report with enough text to accomodate the photos that you're sending in. Don't forget about the results if you think that's important. PR people, if you're working for a BMX company, add us to your media list. We're open to post road trip stories as well just like we posted last week of the two Greek riders who came over to The Netherlands and had a good time. If you've been working on your local scene and finally got that concrete park that you have been waiting for, let us know and we can do a scene report so more people will come over to ride with you. We've been posting loads of stuff recently and that's because you guys are sending stuff our way that we can actually post on the site instead of just putting a link to it. Keep it coming, we'd love to hear from you. Contact info is in the left column on the FATBMX site.
-The Shadow Conspiracy video: "Into the Void" has been premiering this week at several places. We'll let you know how it is when we get our copy in the mail (it's on its way). Hardcore Sports premiere tonight.
-Ryan Guettler's bike check received a bunch of visits. If you have not seen it yet, hit this link.
-Paul's Boutique is having a bmX-mas party tomorrow at their shop in Aarle-Rixtel. Special deals only on Saturday and if you can't find a special deal, there is soup, hot wine and of course beer. Ho ho hoooH!
-With McGoo back on the SNAFU blog it keeps things interesting overthere at the SNAFU BMX site. Did we see Ice Money?
-We got some magazines in the mail this week. Some of them we reviewed on the site:
Cream
Rebelyell
RIDEBMX 152
and BMX Plus! magazine.
-Did Arthur Dietrich just spent 76 hours of traveling to get to Gran Canaria and back and not even get to ride? Ask him about his trip. He's living in the UK now and has got a consulting/sponsorship going on with Decathlon bikes. Now mechanic Paul has to do even more fixing on his bike when he shows up at a contest....
-Another Frenchman who moved to the UK is David Lombard. He got himself a job at Proper Bike Co.
-We showed some samples of BMX related VANS shoes this week and have not heard from Jerry Badders or Mike de Wit to take them off the site yet. Check them out before the 2009 are off the site.
-If you feel like contributing to put all riding spots on the map, head on over to New Breeders and add your spot.
-We have been receiving digital X-mas cards from all corners. Keep them coming some are are funny.
-Have you been to Rooftop's site this week?
-Alex Reinke has been asked to participate in a National German youth campaign against excessive drinking. Little did they know he's been representing the HDT for years. Check one-two.
-Kellie Parsons has left Factory Media to manage all the core sports marketing and teams at Oakley in the UK. Congrats.
-I don't have the URL handy right now but the White Bear has been blogging away giving people some insight on how things were going at Freestylin' magazine some years ago. Okay, White Bear and Freestylin' in Google took me straight to his blogspot. Here it is.
Okay, let me wrap it up here. Enjoy your weekend. Thanks for checking in.
