Mike is getting ready for Christmas and continuing to work hard in therapy. The dexterity in his right hand has improved greatly and he's back buttoning up his little boy Owens clothes for him. It's great to see Mike able to get back to some of these simple tasks that we all take for granted. Mike also continues to work on his core muscles and the muscles in his right leg to further eliminate the limp he was left with after the accident. He's wrapping things up in speech therapy which focuses on helping with memory, problem solving, orientation, language and communication. Mike has come a long way in just 2 months and is now focusing on strengthening his voice and sounding more like he did before the accident. He's a fighter and it's been amazing to watch how quickly he has recovered from such a devastating injury. 
After doing a BMX 'zine for ten years (1987 - 1996) FATBMX made it on the internet. The year was 1998. Here to stay.
