-Dennis Wingham’s lovechild Scott Hamlin is moving out of the party capital of the UK (Weston-Super-Mare) & down to Amazingstoke where he can hang out with the likes of the TTL brigade & the Bruza brothers & play more Guitar Hero.
-Wakefield Skatepark recently opened to the tune of £480,000 & 480,000 scally kids in Thornes Park… Trying to get pics is proving hard but hopefully Ben Manuel will come through with some by next week?
-Speaking of Ben Manuel he has told me that The Works park in Leeds have sold the ramps in the BMX jump box room to make way for climbing walls…. Unreal, I know there’s a credit crunch but f**k me that’s too much!
Is Chris Job the first guy in the UK with a custom made Standard Byke? Check out the pics of this beauty 250L. Here’s what Chris had to say “Just got this hot off the Davenport banana boat. Custom Standard gusset, Chainstay lugs for that mid school flavour & bells & whistles engraving for the limp wrested ponce look” For more info on a custom made dream machine check out Standard’s website standardbyke.com then get onto James @ Zeal distro & place your order.
-Old school Vert legend Lee Reynolds has been spotted riding a lot lately & still shredding, check out these pics which by the way were taken by an equal legend, Andy Shohara!
-Zeal BMX distro have booked a tour of Florida in May with the Sputnic & SBC crews all in attendance! Sputnic’s UK rider Andy Hall is back on his bike after knee surgery.
-There’s a bunch of old people here in the UK who get together a few times a year for a roadtrip they call “Old Fools” (you see what they did there?) These trips are the hard work of West Country rider Tim Ruck (do you’re research) & Steve Wilson (yes kids, that guy from the Broom Cupboard!!!) & are growing in popularity with plenty of new school riders also going along for the experience. The next trip is going to happen on March 27th & 28th along the South Coast of the UK taking in Eastleigh, Slades Farm, Boscombe, and Southsea etc…. If you want to go along get on www.radbmx.co.uk & get on the forums for more info.
-Southsea’s Jamie Shons was recently caught stealing cheap cider from Tesco & selling it to under age kids so he could buy fuel for his van.
-Volume have 2 new frames out right now, Rob Wise’s signature First Blood frame & the legend that is Biz has his 781 sig frame also both with the Volume “Speaker” logo engraved into the head tube. Volume also have a new pivotal seat & post situation out but I couldn’t get a pic in time, sorry!
-Volume’s UK Trails bosses Bob Manchester & Matt Priest are currently in the USA for the next 8 weeks or until they run out of money whichever comes 1st? Even though I’m sure with Bob’s pure skill with the ladies he’ll keep a roof over their heads on a day-to-day basis? Matt Priest also signed a deal with Relentless energy drink.
-S&M’s I wanna live DVD is out & possibly the best BMX vid in a while? Heard nothing but positive things…. Hopefully will have a better review next week?
-Lastly, I’ve heard a lot of peeps moaning about plastic pedal having no grip but Wellgo seemed to have solved that problem as they’ve come up with plastics with metal studs all in an array of the usual gay colours. Peep the pic.
Anyway, I’ve pretty much run out of stuff to tell so I’m going to get off (no, not in that way)… If you’re reading this from Tallinn then I hope you have an utter shit weekend.

- If you're going to the Rockstar BMX Games in Australia and you could use free duo-tickets, we've got some in our competition which will end on Monday. You have to name three Rockstar Energy athletes in this contest and with over 10 BMX-ers riding for Rockstar it shouldn't be too hard to figure out who's on the team. Free tickets, who doesn't want them? The tickets will be mailed to you on Tuesday so it only makes sense if you're living in Australia to participate in this comp. Go HERE.
-Expect to read some interviews with the core English UK crew that rode hard in the mid eighties. Starting off with Craig Campbell and followed up with a Greg Guillotte interview this week. Next week we'll give you more so stay tuned (for Lee Reynolds?).
-Newer school riders can enjoy the Tobias "No Muscles, No Balance" Wicke interview plus video clip and a Sergio Layos interview . All the nutcases will enjoy the Catfish interview that Maarja did. Now hit that profiler button to read all of them.
-Practice has started here in Tallinn, we're going to shoot some photos.
