According to BMX history books (written by Bob "Oz"' Osborn), Redline founder Linn Kastan created the first tubular-chromoly fork on February 10, 1974. It's safe to say that with this fork design, Redline forever changed the bicycle industry - making the heavy, bladed forks of Schwinn and Ashtabula a thing of the past. Coincidentally - Today is the anniversary! 36 years ago today. 
After doing a BMX 'zine for ten years (1987 - 1996) FATBMX made it on the internet. The year was 1998. Here to stay.
