Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord. BMX Dirt Jump and Mountainbike Slopestyle are the two trophy-chasing topics on the spectacular program of this world class contest.
Attending the BMX contest will be
Dennis Enarson (USA), the world’s best dirt rider and two-time winner of the biggest US action sports series, the DEW Tour (07 & 08) as well as womanizer and French dirt legend
Patrick Guimez, the current and yet undefeated dirt jump world champ since 2005,
Kye Forte from the UK as well as regional favorit
Ben
ny Paulsen. They will compete against
Rob Darden (USA), street winner of the Street Session 2008 as well as the hottest Brazilian dirt export,
Diogo Canina and Germany’s best dirt rider
Markus Hampl.
“Real rockers with a local connection,” is the adequate description for the action sports band Dan Dryers. Six men, three guitars, a drum set and tons of volts and watts. The Solingen boys’ credo reads like this: fun, action and rock

‘n’ roll. That’s why they always play full speed ahead. Just like at the Sputnik Festival where the Dryers played on the main stage and with bands like Wir sind Helden and Deichkind. Frontman
Busty Wolter is Germany’s best freestyle motocrosser and bass player
Frank Weckert will be on two missions in Duisburg. He’s the sports expert and hosts the mountainbike part and gets on stage in between the final rounds to get the fans amped and ready for another band and US punkrock giants NOFX.
National pros and talented rookies can qualify for the big contest in Duisburg via the T-Mobile Local Support Dirt Challenge in Mainz, March 28th. That’s the only chance for both 4 BMXers and mountainbikers to save a place in the high-profile starting field at the Dirt Session and to compete against the world’s best action sports athletes.
