The February edition of Top Gear magazine in Australia has some BMX in it. Turn to page 136 to see Australia's Kamakazi in a Courier Challenge held in Melbourne where he takes it up against Craig Lowndes and Chris Vermeulen. BMX in a car magazine. Not bad.

-It was brought to our attention that the BMX freestyle contest in Riga we had on our Event Schedule for 2009 has been cancelled. So do not go to Riga on 28 March if you are expecting a contest there. Maybe this summer instead. It's off the schedule now but we added a lot more happenings so check it out.
-Stefan Lantschner is in San Diego staying with Dennis Enarson for 4 weeks and visited the San Diego Supercross before going on a LA skatepark trip for the day. 4 parks were visited with the likes of Gary Young and some locals. Stevan sent in this photo of new Nike 6.0 team mate James "Bubba" Stewart.
-Are you a Bad Brains fan? Get some of these.
I'm handing it over to DJ for a moment. Here we go:
-Ben Wallace has been hooked up with a ride from Hoffman Bikes through Seventies Distro as well as the Primo & Orchid gigs he already has with them. Good to see someone supporting one of the UK's best.
-"The Legend that is Eddie Fiola has got his anorak out & joined www.radbmx.co.uk which is cool, having these guys on specialist forums is a real treat. Eddie is now a Hollywood stuntman & still into BMX, check the pics...
-Anthony Pill tells me he's "thrown the towel in on BMX, too fat, too old, too tired." His words, not mine!
-Ronnie Remo, Mark Webb & Steve-O will be in Woodward by the time you read this after flying into Raleigh on Monday & hanging out in Greenville with the P.R.O's all week. Webby & Steveo got dumped at Scott Wirch's place while Remo is living it up with Mirra. The guys were driving down to Woodward last time I spoke with them to meet up with McCoy!
-I hear there's going to be a Mega Ramp contest in Italy later in the summer & a Vert/Park/Mini contest @ Newquay Boardmasters, UK in August thanks to Relentless & Vans? More events needed though that's for sure BUT please, if you are going to arrange an event, CHECK THE EVENT SCHEDULE on this site so you don't clash with anything else!
Well, thats it from me I'm afraid, even though the global economical situation can't stop us having it fun, it can stop me getting paid at work so I better get back!

Thanks DJ for your contribution. You want more? Here we go:
-Some companies out there want us to mention everything new that's on their site; "Our rider has a bike check on our site, can you put that on your site?" or "Our stems come in green now". Well, there are enough websites you can send that information to that will actually post it. Sure, we post product news from time to time, especially when it comes from our sponsors, or when people actually send a press release and attach some (exclusive) photographs. Put some effort in and things will be alright. Saying that, here's one from FBM with a photo of Adam Guilliams: "We just put up a revised FBM site, with a Flip book feature, new pics and video... new FBM shirts too. Part 4, and the full section of the FBM east coast trip are posted." That was on the bubble Crandall man! Nice photo though. Thanks.
