Unless you live under a rock you have heard about the first ever Destruction Derby! I'll spill all the details so you can start planning your trip out now. The destruction derby will be held near Rochester in Canandaigua N.Y. on Wednesday July 27th. There will be 18 cars driven by different teams, such as S&M/Matt Beringer, Van’s shoes/ Gary Young, Odyssey/Mike Aitkin, Fbm/Steve Crandall, Federal/Cory Martinez, DC shoes’s/Allen Cooke and Ryan Sher will be driving our car. What better way to spend summer then watching your favorite rider get in a car accident. Check the website for more details.
Danny Hickerson was back in Austin for a few days and now is in L.A., trying to take some care of his wrist. Danny is also on a
prototype Hickerson frame. If testing goes right then we should have some frames available for this Christmas. As the summer goes on and we have more final specifications we will pass them on to you.
Ryan Sher has officially moved to Portland and is happy as a junebug. The weather is good, the street riding is great and the trails are amazing. To top that all off there is a convenience store down the street that sells everything including weapons such as numb chucks and multi blade knifes. What more could you ask for? Next week we will also have Freebirds with internal head tubes in stock in black.
Kc Badger is currently up in Portland hanging out for the summer with Ryan, getting out of the summer heat of Phoenix. When you get the new Ride UK, Kc has an interview and pics of him shutting down his trails in AZ so check it out.
Dirty Dan’s been busy. Not only with a new or at least new to him car, working at Kegal’s in Rockford and riding the new free public park in Rockford. His frame will be out in a few weeks. Next week some sizes of the Sidepipe frame with internal headsets will start rolling in. Then over the next few weeks we will have all sizes and headset options. One option that you don’t need to make while purchasing your frame is gyro tabs or not. All the head tubes will not have gyro tabs. Instead we are making an internal gyro plate that clamp on around your head tube. We currently have them in stock so you can get them when you get your frame or when you decide to run a gyro. We also have new bullet web belts, feather weight sprockets in blue and gold and new air fresheners with either vanilla or citrus sent all in stock.
