How much communication can you handle? This week we added Twitter to the FATBMX program. You can now tell us what you're doing via Twitter, send us an e-mail via your computer, send a text via your phone or simply call us. You can leave a comment on the FATBMX website, we still have a myspace site (although the login doesn't work any more) where you can post messages, leave comments and all that good stuff. I'm on facebook personally, have got 5 e-mail addresses where you can reach me so don't
say there's no way to get in touch. Communication is key, especially here at FATBMX. Here's some BMX news that happened this week that we gathered through all kinds of communication channels.

-Ride and shoot with the Nike 6.0 Team. Travel with them to comps and events both in the UK and abroad. Sounds epic hey? Have you got what it takes to become the next Nike 6.0 Media Apprentice? Do you think you're pretty handy with a video camera, or have a sharp eye for a standout photo? Are you constantly on the internet uploading and plugging your footage? Do you think you could step it up and have your work splashed across action sports magazines, media or even featured on TV? Click
here.

-Dude, how does this sound: Bikes, Beers and Bitches? It's been the FAT-JAM slogan for years. 4 April will bring the boys and girls together at the Sugar Hills trails in Aarle-Rixtel one more time. The spot will be plowed after over 20 years of service to the BMX community.
Mat Hoffman's been there,
Jay Miron, Todd Lyons, Ian Morris, Chase Gouin tried 360-s at this spot, if this dirt could talk we would be in for a good evening around the BBQ. We have been appointed a new dirt spot somewhere else in Aarle-Rixtel but you know how these things go. Yup, very slow. No excuses, get to the Sugar Hills one last time for an insane session. 4 April, mark your calendar.
-The FAT FAVORITES section is taking off. One ev

ery day for the rest of the year is the goal and it is looking good so far. This week we had:
Francisco "Coco" ZuritaNik FordMike FedeMike O'ConnellRyan NyquistColin MacKayand
Andy BuckworthHit those links to see their FAT FAVORITES list. Coming up are the following riders:
Cam Hardy, Greg Masson, The Beard, Ben Hucke, Lean Perkins, Brad Simms and
Dan Sieg. One every day.

-This doesn't mean we've stopped doing interviews with riders. It took a bit of effort to get a good phone connection with
Jason Davies but we finally got to do
this interview about him riding in the eighties/nineties in the UK and the USA. Jason now lives in Tempe, AZ but hails from Bristol, England.

-When I told
Dave Rytell that those Banned In Orlando guys are crazy he replied with; "That's who I live with. I ride with those guys every day." Get your hands on a copy of Banned 3 and tell me those guys are NOT crazy. You do.

Dale Reves is having a good day today. He won the Wii console that was given out in an online competition on FATBMX. We have four more prize winners who will receive a package in the mail too.
Are you one of them?
-This week we had a
Saskatchewan scene report by Jon Horn up on the FATBMX site. Jon had asked if he could contribute and we said: Of course! If you feel you've got what it takes to contribute to the FATBMX site (believe me, it's not that hard), feel free to get in touch.

-Next week's FAT FRIDAY will come from the USA. We're taking off on Thursday for 10 days of hectic cruising around. We're planning on doing some riding ourselves but we'll see how that will work out. On the program are a visit (+ participation?) of the NBL National in Las Vegas, a visit to the Vans place (+ session!), a swing by the RIDE offices, S&M/FIT, Mirraco, San Diego spots, visiting Stephen Murray and of course the Old School BMX Reunion at Woodward West. We'll try to get updates done from the road but we're not going to promise anything. If the site is slow, we're having a good time. The updates will show up at some point.
