-Ryan Nyquist has been working on his Wood Warrior contest and things are looking good. It's more of a dirt jump contest but then on wood, without the dirt. If that makes sense. Expect big hits up there in NorCal. Check the FATBMX event calendar for more details.
-For some reason new magazines arrive all at the same time. The New RIDE UK dropped on the doormat and also the new BMX Plus! issue. Haven't even finished reading Session. The new issue of Freedom is on its way and so is RIDEBMX hopefully. Either in the mail or digitally.

-After how ever may beers & half my bottle of Jack on Saturday night in Duisburg Paul "Coach" De Jong taught himself to talk Arabic.
After a chat with mtb'errrrrr Grant Fielder over the past weekend he told me that near where I am working are some sweet trails so I took a trip over there & was pretty surprised, check the pics of Bar End trails in Winchester..
Ben "Hell for Leather" Hennon is moving to the South of France. Hennon will be down there for around 4 months in which time he'll travel Europe taking in FISE & The Worlds & generally being awesome whilst wearing a denim jacket.
Also, on my way home from work a few weeks back I spotted a track just off the motorway so this week with the riding bug in me I got an hour earlier than I needed to (5:30am), threw my bike in the car & took myself up to check it out. Its called Freespace & its at Chandlers Ford. 
It isn't a new place but I hadnt ever seen it so it was new to me. The ramp set up is pretty weak but the concrete bowl albeit a bit tight is pretty good & the track is a stack of fun... I took some pics but as I was on my own you dont have the pleasure of pics of me riding! Zach Shaw has been digging at an undisclosed trails location in Northamptonshire & after 40years on a WTP Osato frame is now pimping on a lo-fi frame.
The Shaun Scarfe gang have been busy up at Corby's Adrenaline Alley building a bunch of new ramps inc a 7ft midi ramp that Webby has already been busting 10ft airs on! New stuff on its way soon....
Ronnie Remo has been busy all week doing Guiness Book of Record stuff @ Pinewood Studios, London in the studio where they film all the James Bond stuff. 
Ben Wallace dropped the Hoffman deal in favour of a deal with a company who seem to be into just using other peoples designs & geometry for their own good. Are they really called "Bomb" Bikes????Not to London Metropolitan Police: Frank Lukas is a TOURIST, not a TERRORIST.

-On 3 May we're putting on another trails jam. This time in Helmond, NL. The place needs some shaping up and putting on a jam is good to get people together to get the job done. Thanks to everyone who has already lent a hand. One week to go and the place will be all right. There will be a little race on the pump track for the kids (till 12 years old) and a jam session on the bigger jumps. Over 1000 cyclists will pass by the jumps that day (Rondje Hellmond fietsdag maat!) so a good crowd is expected. More info HERE.

America the "Jimmy Fallon show" doesn't mean much. But I'm guessing it's a big deal over there. Mike Spinner was on the show teaching Jimmy a bunny hop. Cheesy as ever but I guess BMX made it on TV again. Let's hope it's for the better with this type of media attention. Here's the clip by the way so you can judge for yourself.-A looping on a bike. This was done ages ago. Or at least the attempt was there. Check this clip and watch till the end for the stunt.
