Paulie Lange raced an ABA National in Reno, NV last weekend. He raced the new 2006 Sector frame for the first time and pulled off a 7th and 4th in AA Pro. This is a sample frame and frames should be in stock at Felt by November. Check out the picture and you will see that new for 2006 is an Internal headset and Hydro-formed top tube. What you can't see is that it is a few ounces lighter, comes with euro bb and the back end of the XL is one chain link shorter (same as the Pro X if you want to compare) It will come in two colors Matte Black and Paulie Pink.
We have a cruiser for him but were waiting for new cranks, he will have the new Sector 24 for his next cruiser race. He placed 2nd and 4th in Cruiser. The Flu bug got him on Sunday afternoon and he has been in bed for the last three days. The Dew Tour is this weekend and they are having a BMX race, huge bummer he is missing it but he said he can barely get out of bed right now. Doctor said it is a virus that will take a few days to pass.
Speaking of the Dew Tour, stop #4 of 5 is this weekend and
Scotty Cranmer will be there. Right now he is in second place points behind Guettler, with some good riding he could be up for the $75,000 year end overall bonus awarded at the last stop (Orlando, FL) USA Network will show the event on Fri and Sat nights as well as NBC on Sat. and Sun. afternoon. The BMX race is Friday night so that has a good shot of getting coverage but the Street/Park finals are Sunday afternoon and not sure if it will make the Sunday NBC show.
Cool picture of the day is from Felt team rider
Rob Jensen. Rob doesn't compete the contest scene but always has good photos from road trips. He let me know that he will be part of the Props Mega Tour covering the West Coast in January 2006.
Check back in about a week and we should have the 2006 products up on the site. Also check back next week for a Team CMR and Extreme Sports report from the NBL Grands
