Nitro Circus, in partnership with the Queensland Government through Tourism and Events Queensland and Brisbane City Council through Brisbane Economic Development Agency, announces that Nitro World Games will make its Australian debut next year. This news sees the revolutionary action sports competition resume its international expansion. Coming to Suncorp Stadium on October 23 – 24, 2021, Nitro World Games Brisbane will draw athletes from across the globe to a country that is already home to some of the most prominent figures in action sports. Next year, the best in freestyle motocross (FMX), BMX, skateboarding and scooter will battle for championship honors while pushing the limits of human achievement.

It's been a long trip getting to Shepparton, Australia in order to get here for the first round of the 2020 UCI BMX SX World Cup. Leaving on Thursday to arrive in Australia on Saturday shows some time was spent at airports and in planes. After Matt Holmes had shown me around Sydney for a few hours (thanks Matt, much appreciated), it was off to the Gold Coast to check out some parks over there. Wade Bootes showed me the Beenleigh park, Nerang BMX track, the park with the fullpipe, Nerang's concrete skatepark and Logan Martin's house. After three days on the road it was time to hit the sack. After spending an amazing "Australia day" at the Gold Coast, a 1600 kilometer long road trip in the Cycling Australia van & trailer brought me to Shepparton. Life isn't always as beautiful as it looks on Instagram......

Broc Raiford, Justin Spriet, and Preston Okert flew to the other side of the world to meet up with Odyssey's newest pro Boyd Hilder and session the finest parks, trails, and street Canberra and Sydney have to offer. These guys rip any terrain and came through with a diverse and mind-blowing edit, and Broc even blessed us with a fresh NBD on a classic Sydney spot.
