Tires are an important pick when you race BMX. Over the years the knobby tires have gone as the tracks are now built ultra smooth with tarmac turns, and wooden or concrete starting hills. Minimum rolling resistence and maximum grip are still the key elements. Radio offers newly designed rubber that deserves looking into. How long have you been riding the frame that you are currently on?
Kyle Evans: I built the Radio Quartz frame up the minute I landed in Australia for the start of the race season. Works out at about 13/14 weeks in total.
