He allready was the European champion. But Joris Daudet did what a sportsman has to do: prove that he deserve the titel. Today Daudet can break a record. He won eleven out of eleven rounds. Twelve out of twelve is writing history. It was sensational, how Joris Daudet Olympic champion Maris Strombergs drove in the final. As if the Frenchman passed a stationary obstacle, the acceleration was that high. "Fantastic. This is very special", concludes Daudet after his maximum score.

This morning I posted an envelop with two tickets inside of the Final Rounds of the European BMX Race championships in Haaksbergen. On Saturday the winner will be able to see the fastest European BMX riders ride around the track during round 9. But more people from outside of Europe are coming over to collect some UCI points this weekend. They'll have big screens (with the FAT logo on it from time to time), a Monster 
A lot of young fans came to Baarn to ride and watch the National Championship last weekend. For me it was the first national race of the year. I saw some new people around the track and also a lot of kids/parents I know very well. It was cool to sign many caps/ racing jerseys or whatever, give some stickers and to get a picture with the little ones. Sometimes I wish I had some more time for all that kind of stuff!

The event will take place this weekend in Haaksbergen, Netherlands so we'll be unable to attend the event ourselves as we're going to the BMX Masters in Cologne.
