The international off-road bike scene has much to look forward to in 2020 as the Velosolutions Pump Track at Saalfelden Leogang, Austria has been selected to stage the Red Bull UCI Pump Track World Championships in September. Adding to the excitement Pump Track will this year join forces with the UCI Mountain Bike Downhill World Championships, promising an epic weekend of all things bike.

With multiple heats taking place around the globe this year, the Red Bull Pump Track World Championships 2019 kicked off in Bern, Switzerland last month. Winners from each heat were invited to the Velosolutions pump track in Bern to put their skills to the clock and battle it out for the UCI rainbow jersey.

On July 19th, the Circuit Crew groomed the Roger Williams Pump Track in Providence, invited the Profile crew out where we grabbed some pizza and had a session before the Road 2 Recovery Jam in Connecticut. The Red Bull Pump Track World Championship has already succeeded in creating a revolutionary global series with over 23 groundbreaking inaugural events around the world in 2018. More than 2000 athletes participated in over 19 countries and 67 riders competed in a World Final that saw local heroes, Olympic BMX racers and MTB World Champions compete on an even playing field. Now in 2019 the series is back with more stops, more athletes and more Pump-Action.

The Red Bull Pump Track World Championship goes into the second year! Qualifiers are going to take place all around the world with more than 20 events in Europe, North America, South America, Asia, Oceania, and Africa. Registration is now open to everyone. Velosolutions teamed up with Red Bull and launched the pump track world championship in 2018. David Graf and Christa von Niederhäusern, both from Switzerland, were crowned as World Champions at the big final in the pouring rain at the Jones Center in Springdale, Arkansas, USA.
In February 2019, the championship goes into the second year with the first qualifier taking place in

Pump tracks combine rolling jumps with banked turns. Riders use the track features to gain momentum and attack the track as fast as possible.
