New members for 2011 are two lady riders namely Maya Rawlins (14 girls) and Liz Cox (17 & over girls) as well as Tyler Klumper (13 boys). Rawlins has just completed her first year of racing and returned some solid results. Cox is a Grand National champion and know for her hard work while Klumper has raced previously on the American East coast.
Another change in the team is Sydney Webster handing over the role of team manager to Wayne Klumper who also runs his own parts store enjoybmxracing.com. Sydney will be based in Germany managing the BMX AIR Team from January as Klumper takes over. As well as racing all the South African Nationals Team Jeep BMX aim to represent their home country at Worlds in Copenhagen in 2011.
“With every rider on the team having a #1 title of some sort in 2010, the 2011 Team Jeep BMX is looking strong and ready for business” says the 2010 team manager Sydney Webster.
The Team had another successful year in 2010 finishing 3rd in the National Team standings, giving them 3 podiums in 3 years, and are looking to better that result in 2011.
