Aneta: Yes, we had 3 training sessions before the race, so it was ok.
Did you manage to jump everything you wanted to jump during the first session?
Aneta: No, made it in second training.
How much harder is it for you to go from one at a time, to a full race of 8 people on the gate and then ride the track?
Aneta: Not too much, bmx is about racing with other people, so I am used to it.
The wind definitely didn’t help with the difficulty of the track. Would it have been a different race without the wind?
Aneta: I think without the wind the race would be much easier!
The men had to take the box jump. What needs to be fixed with that part for the 2012 Olympic track?
Aneta: I think there should be a chance to go over the box jump without taking off the bike. Of course jumping the box jump would be faster, but riders climbing on the box were embarrasing - that was no more bmx race for men.
How often did you crash?
Aneta: Fortunatelly I had no crash in Papendal.
Did you wear extra safety gear at this Supercross World Cup?
Aneta: I have raced first time with shorts, so I had to wear knee-shin pads.
Do you think this Papendal track would be a lot easier to ride in two years from now?
Aneta: Probably yes, bmx is growing up fast and we are getting used to harder tracks.
Ok, imagine you’re the track designer for the London Olympic track and you can make 3 changes to the track. What would they be?
1. I would make 2 starting hills - totally separated first straights for women and men - Papendal first straight was not very fair for all 8riders.
2. Tripple to first turn as originally designed.
3. 2nd double on 2nd straight.
Any thanks to the sponsors or any people in particular?
Aneta: Of course! I would like to thank to all my sponsors in ONE KENDA Bmx racing team, my team mate Nadja, her mum and our team coach/manager Martin for taking good care of me out there, my coach, friends, fans and my family of course for making this all possible.
