Here is how Kyle and Randy finished up the weekend:
Randy Stumpfhauser knew to be in the title chase he had to win one of the days in the Elite Class. On Saturday, Randy was out front all day and easily made his way into the Elite main event. When the gate dropped, Randy was in 2nd and closing in all the way around the track, going into the last turn Randy hit his secret line, giving him some extra speed and the power to pass by the leader and take home the win. On Sunday, Randy crashed in the semi for Elite and missed out of the main event, but made up for it with making the UCI Elite main event. Randy finished up 2nd in the main event and with the series finishing off here, he placed 3rd overall for the series.
Kyle Bennett held a slight lead going into South Park and wanted to extend his lead. On Saturday, Kyle did just that with a 3rd place finish in the Elite main event. Adding a few points will make a huge difference come NBL Grands time, as the title chase will all come down to the main event. On Sunday, Kyle was in the Elite main event again, but this time had to settle for a 8th overall. Kyle is looking forward to the UCI World Championships in a few weeks and hopes he regain the World Champion title that he has 2 time before, for 2006.
4 Pros have a chance to win the NBL Pro Title. It will take some doing for 3rd and 4th to take the title, but the Grands always has a surprise come main event time. NBL Pro Title Chase going into the NBL Grands
