Regarding the Prophecy BMX team, all our team riders was there and even if Henrik Baltzersen did not pass the time trial Joey Bradford and Moana Moo-caille showed how fast was their Scud carbon frames.
Joey Bradford who did a bad crashed one week before the worlds during a training camp at the Olympic center in Chula Vista decided to come anyway to Denmark to compete at the worlds…It was a quite crazy decision when you know that Joey just gets time to pack his baggage after been out of hospital to flight to Copenhagen two days before the race!
But Joey impressed the entire crowd Friday during the time trial getting the first time until the second turn and slowing down at the 3rd straight to avoid crash and be sure of the qualification for the next day…Joey finished anyway to an incredible and great 18th place at the time trial. Unfortunately the Saturday during the race he could not succeed to make good start and did not pass the qualifications…
At the reverse Moana Moo-caille, who finished at the 40th place at the Friday’s time trial, did Saturday the perfect race until the final. Unfortunately even if Moana did a quite good start during the final, he was certainly impressed to be between Sam Willoughby and Joris Daudet on the gate ramp and so brakes before the first jump…after coming back 7th Moana crashed alone at the last turn and finished 8th place. But Congratulation to Moana to offer to Prophecy BMX for its first year participation a final in Elite men!
ELITE MEN 1. Joris DAUDET (France), 2. Maris STROMBERGS (Latvia), 3. Marc WILLERS (Nouvelle Zélande), 4. Sam WILLOUGHBY (Australie), 5. Brian KIRKHAM (Australie), 6. Calors OQUENDO ZABALA (Colombie), 7. Connor FIELDS (USA), 8. Moana MOO CAILLE (Prophecy BMX, France)
Outside the official Prophecy BMX team, we want to congratulate two other riders who reached the finals.
First in Elite Women with Lieke Klaus who reached the final and finished to a great 4th place with her Scud carbon frame Pro XL….and in 9 years old category with Luke Rossiter finishing at the 7th place with his Scud Junior frame….
