"(It was) a really hard long day here with the weather and

Reynolds agrees her second place in yesterday's Superfinal time trial also helped her confidence today but a crash in practice wasn't part of the day's plan. "The conditions were crazy and it was a case of survival on the track," she said. "I pinned it my first one and got over the next one okay but the wind stopped me and turned me and it was straight to the ground but it was a light crash luckily so I just jumped back up and got ready for racing. (I told myself) I'm feeling good, riding well, have the track under control so not too much to worry about just getting the job done again," she explained. "I put it together and had some good laps. In the actual final my gate wasn't the greatest but I just played it smart I think and just kept my cool and kept in control," she said. "I had a nice first straight and got in the mix and held onto that number three. The two girls ahead of me they had a really good battle and they were fairly flying so it was just keep up with them and not let anyone past me."
Recently crowned junior world champion, Melinda McLeod, stepped into the elite ranks this week and qualified for her first Supercross main final finishing sixth.

He won with Daudet second and Nicholas Long (USA) third while Willoughby crossed in sixth place.
"We're working well together, stepping stones on the way up, we're a young team and we're starting to get the experience under our belts now," said Reynolds. "Only a matter of time now and we're going to start seeing a lot more results. Team Australia's going really well."
