Grand Prix Motocross of The Netherlands

It's nice when you don't have to travel for a change. The latest Motocross Grand Prix took place in Lierop which is a 10 minute drive from home. Sweet. I went to Lierop in the morning and took my son Philip as he's getting stoked on anything that relates to Motocross. We go watch practice from time to time at the track but when we rolled up this time he couldn't believe his eyes. Thousands of people and hundreds of cars, a big tent with 2007 models and all the factory trucks sure left an impression on him. After checking out the sights for a bit I drove home to drop him off and returned to shoot some photos.

It was one of the most demanding races as the sandy conditions got worse towards the end of the day. Stefan Everts won his 100th Grand Prix of his motocross career in Lierop and Christophe Pourcel won his 2nd GP of the season in the MX2 class and can look forward to winning his first World Title next week in Ernee, France.
