Qualifying motos on Saturday went fine, with some good laps I qualified myself 5th for Sundays event going 2-1-1. Sunday warm-up I felt good and ready for racing. 1/8 final one and two I didn’t have the best gates, but rode good laps and managed to get a 4th and 2nd. Last moto the focus was there and I had a great gate. Only a small mistake on jump 1 cost me some speed, so I went back from 2nd to 4th. On second straight I didn’t have much space and mid air pro section I got wind and crashed. With a sore glute I got up and finished 6th, giving me 12 points total. Too bad Sylvain Andre from France also had 12 points, so I went out. Again a crash and again out in 1/8 finals, not what I was hoping for.
With only 3 races to go I have to turn things around. Good note was that I didn’t put as much pressure on as I did last races, but more has to change. I’ve got a good race level, just making toomuch mistakes. Something to work on coming weeks.
This weekend I’m racing a 3 Nations Cup in Belgium, after that the last World Cup in Chula Vista, USA and a national race to end the season. Let’s go!
Cheers
