Trent Jones: No doubt you cannot overlook Niek Kimmann this year. Really stepped things up being first year elite.
Who impressed you most in the Elite Women class?
Trent Jones: Not gunna lie a bunch of the ladies have really turned things on for 2015 making racing really interesting. But I may be a little bias seeing I train with these two but Lauren Reynolds/Alise Post never fail to impress myself with what they can do on a bike.Have you been active on social media in 2015 and where can people follow you?
Trent Jones: Most certainly am active! Find me on Instagram/Twitter @tjones279 or Facebook.com/tjones279 or trentjones279.com
What track did you like most in 2015?
Trent Jones: I'm a huge fan of a basic style race track that provides the best racing possible. Certainly Sweden / Argentina / USA's Rockhill were by far my favorite with big turns reasonable sized jumps with a margin for error that enables little mistakes to be made without blowing a race to pieces or putting riders in extremely dangerous situations.Who did the best move on the track this year that you remember?
Trent Jones: Niek's double dice first straight in Papendal was impressive and shocked the BMX world.
What race had the best race conditions?
Trent Jones: For sure Argentina. No wind no rain. Lots of sunshine!
Where was the weather horrible to race in?
Trent Jones: Zolder/Rockhill certainly had crazy rain but scariest was certainly Sweden seeing the wind was so unpredictable sending riders in crazy directions !Worst crash of 2015?
Trent Jones: Twan Van Gendt's was a gnarly one. Remember seeing it thinking he is on a direct trip to the hospital to get pieced back together. But somehow he walked it off and soldiered onto the next day of racing.
Who had the best looking bike of 2015?
Trent Jones: Certainly like to think My matte carbon frame with chrome and red Box parts was certainly popping for the 2nd half of the season. But some of Liam Phillips builds are super nice with subtle custom touches he adds that can only be seen up close in person.
Best hotel/place you stayed at in 2015?
Trent Jones: Being on the BMX budget there are certainly some bad places that I've stayed in! But places like Papendal where everything's onsite with food/track is riding distance is always nice and comfortable.
Worst travel experience this season?
Trent Jones: Losing luggage with airlines. Don't wish that upon anyone before a race!
Best person you hung out with in 2015?
Trent Jones: Don't think it's possible to singularly answer that one. But generally the regulars on the World Cup circuit always have a good vibe post races good or bad. After all we're all here due to the love of riding bikes.
Plans for 2016?
Trent Jones: Win a bunch of laps. Set up a more permanent base in the states thanks to support from BOX Components/Thrill with my recent signing. Enjoy riding my bike and the places it takes me in a short summary.
