my best result. It was my first big international win and to get it at a major games like that in my home country was incredible. That's a moment in my life that will always be special to me and remembered.
Who do you think kicked ass in the Elite Men class this year? Tory Nyhaug: Niek Kimmann killed it. For a first year elite to come in and accomplish what he did is very impressive, I don't think that's ever been done before. My hats off to him. Great guy too, very humble.
Who impressed you most in the Elite Women class?
Tory Nyhaug: Simone Christensen impressed me this year. She's been improving every year and with a gold medal at the European games and a bronze at the world championships I think this was a break through year for her. She's made herself a legitimate podium threat at any race, and I think she's a hopeful for a medal at the Olympics next year.Have you been active on social media in 2015 and where can people follow you?
Tory Nyhaug: yes always active :)

What track did you like most in 2015?
Tory Nyhaug: I really liked Rockhill, wide open fast and tons of areas to pass. I think more tracks should be like that, makes for the best racing in my opinion.Who did the best move on the track this year that you remember?
Tory Nyhaug: David Graf's move at the worlds this year for the win in the 2nd turn was sick. It was aggressive but clean and he made it stick and gave himself a shot to win with that. It was impressive.
What race had the best race conditions?Tory Nyhaug: the best conditions were Argentina, it was warm but not too hot and light wind. That's one of my favourite races of the year, the atmosphere and fans are amazing and the track always makes for great racing.
Where was the weather horrible to race in?
Tory Nyhaug: Sweden SX. Man that wind was insane! 70 km/h maybe I don't even know. I remember getting in the gate for practice and falling over during the cadence because it was so bad. I'm surprised we could actually race with that. Good thing was the track wasn't huge or too crazy so we could still make it around and have a good race.
Worst crash of 2015?
Tory Nyhaug: Justin Posey at the USABMX SX round in Colorado. Man, that crash made me sick. One of the worst I've seen, he was down and got carted off. His list of injuries was gnarly and I'm stoked to see him doing well now and working hard to be back ready for next year. BMXers are some of the toughest people I know.
Who had the best looking bike of 2015?
Tory Nyhaug: My white SSquared with blacked out Answer parts of course!! I love the look of it.Best hotel/place you stayed at in 2015?
Tory Nyhaug: The athlete village in Toronto for the Pan Am Games was really cool. Very similiar to an Olympic Village. They did such a good job and I really enjoyed that experience.
Worst travel experience this season?
Tory Nyhaug: On the way back from Argentina, we went out after racing and I had no sleep and went straight to the airport early in the morning. After our first domestic flight to Buenos Aires my bag and 2 bikes didn't make the flight. I proceeded to fly my next 3 flights (16 hours) without them. I finally got all my bags a week later! I was stressing because Rockhill was only 3 weeks after Argentina.
Best person you hung out with in 2015?
Tory Nyhaug: Can't think of 1 person, I have so many good friends all over the world with BMX and I love seeing all of them. So many fun times every year.
Plans for 2016?
Tory Nyhaug: Plan is to race well, stay healthy and give myself the absolute best shot at being at the Olympics and going for a medal.
