36 international elite riders raced last weekend on the “Winter International” race of “Liga LBR” in Alicante - Spain. Some of the best international teams do their Training Camps every year in south Spain, so the Spaniard riders can enjoy some of the best riders of the euro scene. Two races of the Spain National League “Liga LBR” won by elite dutch riders Laura Smulders, second place for her sister Merel and third for the actual European Elite Champion, German Sarah Sailer. In men’s class, Mitchel Schotman won the big international race in front of German Champ Luis Breithauer and Felix Jakob from Switzerland.
Last year Mariana Pajon attended the “Gran Nacional” of this Spanish league that become already as one of the best Winter race oportunity for all European riders.
