How many racing kits do you normally have during one season of BMX racing?
Natalia Suvorova: Normally I have 1 National jersey and Lead racing pants in black and red
What career number is printed on the back?
Natalia Suvorova: 41
What do you look for in protection gear? Comfort? Weight? Quality? Pricing?
Natalia Suvorova: All of this and + it has to look nice!
How does it feel showing up at a race with brand new gear?
Natalia Suvorova: I would love to say how it feels if I had many kits. But I have just almost every year the same gear so it feels normal.
What happens to your old gear at the end of the season?
Natalia Suvorova: I’m training with it or give it away. Or racing next season haha.
Do you change lenses much in your goggles?
Natalia Suvorova: Yes, when it’s sunny or rainy.
You ripped your gloves. What do you do with them?
Natalia Suvorova: It depends how they are ripped. If I’m able to ride with them I use them to ride, if not I give them away or trash them.
Do you save a jersey yourself from each season?
Natalia Suvorova: If a jersey is completely ripped after all crashes I just trash it. If it’s fine I’m training with it.
What’s a product you can advise every rider to use?
Natalia Suvorova: Lead racing pants, they very flexible. And body protection by G-form, not big and not heavy.
Do you think certain protection gear should be mandatory or do you leave that up to the rider himself/herself to decide?
Natalia Suvorova: Of course a Helmet is mandatory protection. But better if you have protection on all your body - health is number one.
Any advice to the BMX racers out there?
Natalia Suvorova: Take care of yourself. Keep everything in your hands.
