Caroline's 'Buchanan NextGen' scholarship and mentoring program receives new official sponsor and increases financial support. Rubik3, leader of strategic business solutions based in Canberra, has signed a 3-year contract to support Caroline Buchanan's scholarship and mentoring program beginning in 2019. The brands alignment with my values of supporting the next generation of BMX girls, providing a pathway and mentoring their progression goes hand in hand with Rubik3's focus on relationships with their clients, allowing them to produce exceptional results and having a positive impact in their hometown - which is also my hometown - Canberra.

For 2019, Rubik continues their focus on supporting community sport. We are focusing on promoting women in sport with the message – ‘Girls Can Too!’ We have always loved following Caroline’s career and achievements in her sport and proud to be in partnership with such a strong, driven young woman who is committed to making a change to younger girls in sport. We can’t wait to support the next generation of BMX girls.

This year Caroline, along with Rubik3, will award 2 x young Aussie riders $5,000 each in scholarship money to assist them to travel to the BMX World Championships in Heusden-Zolder, Belgium from July 23 to July 28 2019.

To be successful, applicants must be a female competing in either the 20-inch 14-years or 15-years ago group at the 2019 BMX Australian National Championships. Applicants must send an application to Buchanan NextGen and intend on riding at this year's BMX World Championships.
