The Royal Dutch Cycling Union (KNWU) and bicycle manufacturer Meybo have decided in good consultation to end their collaboration. After years of intensive and successful cooperation, both parties are taking their own path. Meybo has been a supplier of BMX Frames to the National and Talent BMX Team since 2013 and is therefore closely involved with the KNWU. The brand took care of the development of the BMX frames that were made to the riders' wishes. Experience, development and passion led to a silver medal at the Olympic Games in Rio with Jelle van Gorkom and an Olympic title for Niek Kimmann in Tokyo. Both the KNWU and Meybo are extremely proud of this.
The KNWU looks back with pride on the results achieved together. Meybo has made an important
contribution to the development of BMX athletes in the Netherlands. This partnership has resulted in countless successes. The KNWU thanks Meybo for the many years of cooperation.
Meybo also looks back on a wonderful period: "A long collaboration is coming to an end, but certainly not an undeserved one, together with the KNWU we have had great successes and we have seen the sport and our brand grow. In good consultation we both take different paths, but we would certainly like to thank the KNWU for the trust in our brand, during these years we have gotten the most out of our products together with the athletes."
