The National Bicycle League is excited to announce the April/May Bring a Buddy winners! This month, we had well over 200 recruiters and over 250 buddies joining. Miami, FL – July 11, 2007 – BAWLS Guarana-sponsored rider Rachel “Thunder” Smith has been chosen to represent the United States as one of two female BMX racers at the XV Pan American Games. Held every four years as an athletic gathering of North and South America’s best, the Pan American Games will be held on July 13th – July 29th in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. “I am really excited and becoming nervous as the games approach,” commented Smith. “This is a huge honor and I am proud to be a part of the USA’s team!” A veteran of the sport, Smith has been racing BMX for 17 years and is currently ranked 2nd in the UCI 2007 Elite Women rankings. Smith is also an honors student in the School of Therapy at the University of Toledo and maintains a strict balance between her studies and her racing career.

The new Staats Bike Shop is just minutes away from some of the best mountain bike trails in Utah, two awesome Skate and BMX parks and only 15 minutes from the World famous RAD Canyon BMX track. 
The Psykopath Van got loaded and ready and headed for the Pacific Coast National’s in Santa Barbara California!, Beautiful weather, beautiful beaches and awesome track! The volunteers at Santa Barbara BMX did a Great job Keeping the Track dialed the hole weekend. The track was fast so our rider, Nick Valencia was flying the hole weekend no wonder he got a call to be on the National Team.

At night, John Paul Rogers & I drank beer & then rode down by Main Street in Huntington Beach & went to the heavy metal bar, Mazotti's. I met this girl (woman), Leslie. She's from England & she was all up on me. John Paul & I went to another bar with her. We had fun!
NBL Expands Marketing Department - Kristin Siebenlist joins the NBL as Communications Coordinator

Hilliard, Ohio - The National Bicycle League (NBL) has expanded their Marketing Department and is pleased to announce the addition of Kristin Siebenlist as the new Communications Coordinator. Siebenlist, who has a strong background in the industry with years of race experience, joins the NBL at an exciting time and will work directly with the marketing department to fulfill ongoing commitments and several new initiatives. With the sport’s transition into the 2008 Olympic program, Kristin is excited to be a part of the transformation of BMX through the many exciting programs the NBL offers. 
PRO Spectacular Information. Schedule of Events: -Friday June 29th – Pro only Practice from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM on the Olympic replica track Normal Pro Practice on the Rad Canyon BMX track from 5:05 PM to 5:30 PM Normal Pre Race to start at 6:00 PM on the Rad Canyon BMX Track
-Saturday June 30th - Normal Pro Practice on the Rad Canyon BMX track from 10:20 AM to 10:45 AM Saturday National starts at 11:00 AM for amateurs and PRO Cruiser. No PRO Open will be run on Saturday. Pro only Practice from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on the Olympic replica Track. Immediately following the amateur National but not before 5:00 PM the Pro spectacular will begin on the Olympic Replica Track for A pro, AA Pro, Girl Pro and Vet Pro. Pro Cruiser will be run on the Rad Canyon BMX track Saturday during the day.
