Over the weekend we heard some shocking news. B&D Verlag, publisher of Freedom BMX magazine and also a MX, Sk8board, and MTB mag is bankrupt. What!!?? I immediately felt for the people who are working there and also thought about the history of the magazine. If you're at number 94, you do want to make it to number 100, at least. So far the insolvence company has picked up the paychecks that's why issue #94 is here. Also the next magazine (#95) is in the works. What happens after that remains to be seen. Here's the options:1. No more Freedom
2. Another publisher picks up all the magazine titles and it's business as usual
3. Someone buys the Freedom BMX title and keeps it going one way or the other.
