You've been doing shows for Mat Hoffman in the USA, what do you do when you break a part for your bike? Do you bring spare parts?
That scares me all the time during travels. I have got with me just extra tires, tubes, pedals, spokes, and some another small stuffs. But in the USA everything works fast and you can find and order everything online and next day you have got it.
When you designed the new frame, did you have the geometry in mind that you always wanted to ride? What frame was it based from?
Base of geometry on my frame ares measures which I used on my older frames. (on Author BMX bikes). But I thought on every small detail in geometry on this frame, made a lot of small changes and now on this frame ride lot of best riders from Czech. Including Ondra Slez – he has his own AGANG frame but sometimes using my frame – Pimp Star.
Don't you miss pegs and front brakes when riding vert?
Not realy. I like two pegs when I go to a miniramp or street course, but it’s not really often. Vert riding means flying for me- go high. But I like Koji’s trick and love front brake nosepick on deck of vert. But this is just one trick. I feel more free without a front brake and the bike is lighter. And that is most inportant for me.
Have you tried riding brakeless?
No, not yet. I love my rear brake. Has to work perfectly. And the brake can sometimes save you during bad landings.
This winter, where do you plan on riding?
In the autumn I will travel to Corby, UK. There is the best vert ramp in Europe. Than I would like to go to the new Woodward in Bejing. And in the new year (winter and spring) to Woodward like every year.
