If you are a girl and you ride, a lot of the times you have to work with the products that BMX companies offer. Not all of the time they cater to the womens market. It's tough enough for a BMX company to sell enough products to the boys to scrape by that specific colours or models for girls never get made. At Nike 6.0 they've got the possibility to make products that are of a similar quality of the boys, but do have a colourway that suits the ladies better, or a cut that is made specifically for the girls out there. 
After doing a BMX 'zine for ten years (1987 - 1996) FATBMX made it on the internet. The year was 1998. Here to stay.
