Any special reason for the chrome bike?Simon: It had been so long since I had one... For me, nothing says BMX quite like chrome does.
Does a fresh new one feel good or do you need to break it in first?Simon: normally takes me half an hour to trust it, check everything is tight and all that
Do you care about the looks of your bike?Simon: Yes, for sure
Are you picky on how it rolls?Simon: Yes, very. Everything has to be smooth and perfect. It's weird, on a vert ramp I don't ever want to be distracted by my bike rattling or feeling weird so I obsessively keep it dialed
What tire pressure do you run?Simon: like 130
What are the modifications you made to your bike?Simon: just custom frame geometry and I cut the axles down on this set of wheels. I normally run Odyssey Vandero wheels but put these black Cinemas on to switch things up. The axles were stupidly long and I don't run pegs so I got the angle grinder out!
