Weight: I weight 151 pounds..haha I seriously don't know the weight of the bike?
Custom built, isn’t it? Tim: Yessir fresh out of the shop from 5050bmx.com
What’s the geometry/dimensions of the ride? Tim: 20.5 TT, 13.75 Rear end.
You haven’t ridden too many USA made frames in your career, does it still feel special to ride one? Tim: It's crazy this is the first American frame that I have ever really rode. I had a Jimmy Levan sig. for a week but never really got to ride it because I got picked up by Redline that same week. I love it..This frame means a lot to me especially because it was one of the last ones hand built by Spooky Dave when he was at FBM right before he went solo.
You could basically call anyone for a bike. Why did you pick this route? Tim: I have always wanted to have a custom built american made frame and there aren't too many companies out there that get a good ROI on a 42 year old BMX'er.. I really didn't want to have any pressure of feeling obligated to any manufacturer.
What are the modifications you made to your bike? Tim: Nothing really crazy..Cut 1/2 inch off the bars and that's it.
Does it ride well on park, dirt and street? Tim: Of course we designed it with dirt in mind with a little longer rear end compared to a lot of bikes these days but if feels perfect for me riding dirt trails.
