Props issue 55
Spring 2005
USA $ 19.95
Stephan Lilly gets the cover of issue 55 and also a Bio which was nice.
Adam Baker keeps up the trail footage. His Bio has lots of dirt jumping in it. Contests that are shown are the
FBM Ghetto comp, the
Derby Backyard jam and the
Animal Brooklyn Banks Jam. Maybe you
have not seen any footage of these events but have seen the action in the magazines or websites. The moving pictures of Props do the riding justice. Seriously crazy stunts were going down at the Ghetto comp on shitty slapped together obstacles including a loop that won it from everyone except Jim Cielencki who managed to complete the monster. You gotta see this. I won't spoil any of the other riding at the events but I can say that it is good shit.
Next to the three contest reports and two Bios, there's a report on the Coalition Road Trip with a music request that must have come from the boss himself. Heavy stuff. Props doesn't seem to have a hard time getting sponsors for their mag. The commercials do take away a bit of the flow of the video, the same as ads do in a magazine. The more support, the longer the video. This one is 52 minutes long plus you get Issue 9 of Props (Summer 1995) as a Bonus.
