You've always been a tech rider. Do your brakes always have to work 100% to make your tricks work?
Tobias Wicke: Of course they need to work 100%. I really hate it, when the cables get too soft or when it's not braking properly. If this happens, I need to fix it as soon as possible...
Do you have some tips for riders who really want their brakes to stick to the rim?
Tobias Wicke: You can use Tar (Bitumen). But it looks really dirty if you are running chome rims or any other colour. So the best are black rims. You can't see it and it works super good.
You are a strong guy and could handle a 15 kilo bike just as well, but do you think having a lighter bike is better?
Tobias Wicke: I don't really trust light bikeparts like frame and fork. And with my body-weight I am scared to try all the light stuff, cause I made some bad experience in the past. Actually, I don't really care about the light weight.
What's the most important thing that needs to be on your bike?
Tobias Wicke: I guess at least a rotor (rear brake) and 2 Pegs need to be on my bike for having fun with it.
Do you know the geometry of your frame?
Tobias Wicke: Not really. But I know the Mr. Mofongo has a TT of 20.8“ and it should be ok. I dont like it any longer.
What tire pressure do you run?
Tobias Wicke: 73 psi in the front and 87 psi in the back
