But the fight is more about what shoe will sell better, Ben Lewis' RAP CL or Tom Dugan's midtop RAP LS. Here are the shoe descriptions of each shoe:
In the red corner: Ben Lewis:
A new style for spring 2014, the Rap CL is all about comfort, durability and grip. The thin padded tongue and collar and STI Evolution Foam footbed provide comfort, while the rubber printed toe cap, and one-piece toe and Ollie area help ward off blow-outs. For grip, there's the new etnies Duo Grip outsole with a herringbone tread pattern in the middle, which is perfect for gripping pedals, and the etnies skate team's favorite tread pattern in the toe and heel. The Grey/Red/White colorway is part of the footwear and apparel collaboration with Fit Bike Co. and etnies BMX rider Ben Lewis. The Rap CL also includes a collaboration with Japanese graffiti artist ESOW in the Black/Grey/Red colorway.
In the blue corner: Tom Dugan:
The midtop Rap LS is a slim shoe built with an STI Foam Lite 1 footbed, clean toe with no stitching to prevent blow outs and a heat-transfer rap bar logo. The black/gum colorway is part of the footwear and apparel collaboration with Fit Bike Co. and etnies BMX rider Tom Dugan.
It's awesome to see shoe companies support the BMX-ers out there. Now it's your turn to show some love to them.
