go further away but make sure noone takes your iPod and Turtle device because it's a popular thing. Any bluetooth phone/ipad/ipod will work and it's very simple to set up. The description as well as the website from Outdoor Tech are quite humerous, seems like they've found the right way to get through to the people is a cool way.
Next to the Turtle Shell, which is water and dust resistant, so take it to the trails if you like, we also received a Buckshot Rugged portable speaker with a handlebar mount. Now we won't advice you use the rubber mount to attach to your bars when you're doing double barspins etc, but it should stay on its place on the way to the next street spot. Again, the speaker is dust and pretty water resistant so you can use it in the rain but avoid the snorkling sessions and be careful at the edge of the pool. And yes that Buckshot does turn heads when you pass people on your bike.
Both products receive our thumbs up. We'll be carrying one with us on our upcoming trips. One charge lasts 16 hours but hooking it up on the computer via a simple USB cable will make sure the speaker is ready for next day's party.
Turte Shell 2.0 : $ 129.95
Buckshot: $ 49.95
