The Mirraco Black Pearl, Blend, Fivestar and Chocolate frames have become available. It was a long wait but now you can buy a frame that riders like Dave Mirra, Nigel Sylvester, Rob Wise, Mike Laird, Mike Spinner, Ryan Guettler and Dave Rytell ride. The top tubes range from 20.75 (Blend Lite) to 21" (Fivestar Lite and Chocolate) with the Black Pearl Lite frame in the middle of the two with a 20.8 Top Tube.
The
Fivestar Lite model(pictured on the right) is ridden by
Dave Rytell, has removable rotor tabs, U-brake mounts on the seatstays and weighs in at: 4.66 lbs. (for the Europeans and other metric system users, that's 2.12 kg).

-The
Blend Lite frame is designed and ridden by
Dave Mirra. It has an oval low-profile chanistay monostay, U-brake mounts on the chainstays and removable rotor tabs. The scale reads 4.69 lbs when you put the Blend Lite frame on top of it.
-The
Black Pearl Lite frame was designed by
Ryan Guettler and what he likes in a frame is the following:
A low profile frame, removable rotor tabs, U-brake on the seat-stays and that 20.8"top tube. At 4.69 lbs it's damn light too.

-
Nigel Sylvester took some time to get things right on the
Chocolate frame but it's here now. 6mm thick drop outs should be able to handle the rough grinds, it's got an oval low-profile chainstay monostay, no U-brake bosses (brakeless riders take note) and the 21"TT frame weighs 4.66 lbs.
If you live in Europe and you want to take a closer look at the frames, find
Jean-Marie Baertsch, Alessandro Barbero or
Maxime Charveron to have a closer look on the frame. They're all on the 2008 models. For more info on Mirraco, check out their new website at:
