STF! Sequel
A documentation of Bike Riding in South Africa, England and the USA...

I had high expectations on the second episode of STF! The first video (actually included on this DVD!) showed the first BMX footage I'd seen from South Africa and The Sequel brings more of that. Because of the mixing of footage it's a bit vague what spots are in South Africa, England and the USA but it sure has some original spots and riding.
With riding progressing so quick and some of the footage being a few years old, The Sequel is not bringing you the latest in trickaroonies. It
does fit better in the Documentation category. Remember when Nate Wessel was still riding for T1? Didn't he drop out of the World Tour? I actually rewinded a part where Nate is being harrassed/picked on/messed with while filming at a bowl somewhere in South Africa. Nate does not look happy at all and his team mates don't have his back either(?). I felt like chief inspector Morse looking at the expressions on everyone's face trying to figure out why Nate left the tour and the T1 company soon after. I never really heard the exact reason for this but the Sequel gave me some evidence that Nate wasn't happy. What does this have to do with the DVD review? Nothing! Let's go back.
Trails fans should be happy with this DVD. It shows there are more good trails than in PA alone. Watching riders flow through the packs is awesome. No need to do tricks. The rest of the footage is street/park oriented so if you're down with that, this is for you. The jump to second set ice-pick bonk on a rail is nuts. If you like to play with fire, you'll dig the several STF! explosions captured on film.
STF! gets a 7/10 from me. Maybe my expectations were too high to start with but with 2 DVD's for the price of one, you can't go wrong. Buying info on: www.stfmedia.net
