"COOPER Makes tomorrow alright" CD.
It ain't much if it ain't Dutch so Kung FU Europe signed Cooper as their first European band. Based in the Hague, Cooper released 3 albums, first 2 produced and recorded by Tom Holkenborg of Junkie XL fame and the third by Michel Schoots from the Urban Dance Squad.
This fourth album was produced by Bill Stevenson (not S&M Chris's father I guess) drummer from bands like Black Flag/All/Descendents
and producer of 7-sec, Zeke and many more. Recorded in the Hague he slept on the floor for over a week, punkrock style! mixed everything in Colorado USA and when Joe Escalante heard the album the Kung FU Records' owner decided to sign Cooper to his label.
This 3-man band with Bertus (drums), Eddy (Bass) and René (guitar) made a very good record and their songs are not to be forgotten. I like Cooper very much although it was my first time to hear them but definitely not the last! **** (4 out of 5). It was released Yesterday the 11th of April so see your recordstore now!
