Teams from Eastpak, United, Twenty, DK, wethepeople and the Bicycle Union traveld across Europe to gather footage for Props' Megatour DVD. Some went to the sun (beach) straight away, others went back home immediately, some were actually looking for good places to ride (indoors) and the DK team went straight to the ghetto. It's good to see common faces in a big production like this and neither the riding nor spots are under quality. It represents the state of European BMX well. In fact BMX is alot the same in a lot of countries. You get in a vehicle, you drive to a spot, you ride, film, shoot. You get injured or you are stoked on a clip and you party the night away. Back to the van an on your way to a new spot. Putting everything together in one DVD is a major task. To get the names right alone for every clip of the forty (foreign) riders is a nightmare. When you buy a copy of Props you don't have to worry about that. The production crew did that for you.
If your local dealer does not sell a copy of Megatour Europe you might be in luck. Vans are giving away 10 copies of Props Megatour to the winners who have answered this question correctly:
Which Vans BMX rider was part of the tour?
1) Tobias Wicke
2) Chris Pfanner
3) Hodei Collazo
If you choose for that Washed Up rider from Berlin, Germany (1) you're doing pretty well.
