How much does your bike weigh and how much do you care about weight?
Ryan: It weighed in at 20.6 lb. I care a lot about weight. I could get it a bit lighter but I'm happy with how it feels. Theses are all stock parts too I don't drill out or cut anything so I'm pumped on it being this light
Big bars, plastic pedals, small gearing. What's your set-up for the upcoming season?
Ryan: All the above. I've got a 25:9 and Colony Plastics and running my bars
How much pressure do you put in your tires? Do you let the air out of your hi-pressure tires before you put it on the plane?
Ryan: I run 80 in the back and around 90 in the front. I don't let them down on the plane but I have had one blow up on the plane. I heard a bang on the plane and joked about it and said I bet that was my wheel and then when I got home and took my bike out of the bag I had a flat back wheel. The only time I've let air out is when I go to the trails because I feel like the trails feel smoother
Does everything need to be dialed in on your bike or could you care less?
Ryan: Yeah everything has to feel good and not make a noise when I drop it. I hate when it's running bad. TJ Lavin once told me If you look good, you feel good and when you feel good, you ride good. Same goes for my bike. It's got to look good, feel good so I can ride good hahahaha.
