Picked this up at one of these giant supermarkets that sells everything. It’s incredible how many magazines are made in France. Found this guide to the French skateparks on the stands and gladly paid the two Euros and fifty cents for it. 100 pages of skateparks in A5 size full of info and pictures. The parks are divided in districts and damn, there are some nice parks listed in this book. Not all of them are listed as I’ve been to four on this trip that did I did not see on these pages. Downfall is that the mag is in French (I’m trying..) and that the info does not have the exact addresses listed of the parks.
As an owner of a TomTom that would have been very handy. Now you get referred to the local skateshop in some cases which makes sense to keep the scene alive but is a bit unnecessary if you just want to ride the park. Not all parks list if it’s okay to ride your bike there so you might want to call up that local shop after all to see if you can. If you’re planning on a French trip, “invest” in a copy for sure.
