Parts you need most often?
Grips......I don't wreck much as I always try to land smooth on vert!!! If I do crash it's usually me that breaks these days. The bikes are sooo strong!
Do you have a hook up for most parts?
Yes! Colony saved me from a previous company that had bikes around 30% heavier about 3 years ago. I'm stoked as I love the bikes and also like to support an Aussie company and friend.
Do you care about the looks of your bike?
Function first then looks are a great bonus. It's like any relationship really...It's always nicer to ride if it looks great too!
Does it have to roll smooth all the time?
For sure. I do regular "drop" tests after putting it together to see if theres any noise. If there is, I fix it. My mentality is that I regret crashes that are not my fault due to bike breakage or simple maintenance. So if I can minimise these with regular upkeep I'm on my bike longer and only have my skill level to blame in a crash.
What tire pressure do you run?
About 110 or just before I can feel all the bumps on a ramp.
Thanks to: Colony bikes for their continual support and motivation. "For the riders" bike shop Browns plains Brisbane. Vans shoes for their amazing travel support and Unit clothing because I am not starving and naked! Fat Bmx for the bike check....cheers!
