Making a skatepark profitable is next to impossible, that's why everyone needs to support them. The original Rollerpark in St. Niklaas has moved into an other location. The old hall was huge, and the current place is humongous. It is safe to say that it has everything you are looking for; a shop, a bar, games, video corner, pinball machine and.....ramps.
The place has two vert ramps. One of them is actually nice to ride as there is no vert on it and not that scary. It's perfect for starters wanting to get into vert riding, they don't need a 14 feet tall ramp with 2 feet of vert, that will only scare them off. Vert might not be the most popular discipline nowadays but if you really want to get into it, there's an indoor place with 2 ramps in Belgium to start practicing. Dave Mirra here I come.
Want mini ramps? No problem. Basically there's 2 mini's next to each other. One is roughly 4 feet tall and goes back to back with platforms, spines, flatbanks, subboxes, nice to mess around on and learn new tricks. The taller mini (call it a midi) has a slow transition but the locals don't seem to have a problem with it. The subbox is huge, the platform spine is challenging and at both ends there's a possibility to hip into the rest of the park.
The jump box is fairly standard with a flat landing followed by a huge bank to wall with a flatbank, quarter to wall and a curved section. More ramps are placed left and right in this area to keep the riding flowing. At the entrance you've got several quarters, small obstacles with flat banks and some rails and a huge quarter to vert wall. If you're into the foam pit thing, you can spend all day trying new jumps.
The park is super BMX friendly so no worries in that respect. Get yourself over there. For more info call: +32 3776 46 96 or E-mail:

Directions look like this: E17 Antwerpen/Gent > follow Sint-Niklaas centrum > N16 Prins Alexanderlaan > roundabout > turn right > direction Beveren > Koningin Astridlaan > turn left > Glycinenplein > follow right > Breedstraat > till end > turn left > Antwerpse Steenweg > first left > Lindenstraat 46B.
Once you're real close it's actually hard to find it. Enter the alley and keep driving towards the far back. Mind the holes in the street. The park is located in the far right corner. The white door is the entrance.
Tip: if you're going to pay a visit for the first time, try to get a ride with someone who has been there before. It will save you loads of time looking for the place.
